Quantitative datasets that support a publication outlining a whole-genome comparative analysis of Salmonella, Escherichia coli and Shigella. These include: a list of PHA genes identified in the S. typhi CT18 genome, S. typhimurium LT2 genome, and S. paratyphi A SARB42 genome and the relative time of insertion for each.
