Dataset analysed as part of an ESRC project to investigate inequalities in quality of life among elderly people, with specific focus upon socio-economic differences. The dataset is based upon source data collected as part of an earlier large-scale randomised trial of assessment and management of people aged 75 years and over in Britain, which was funded by the MRC, DoH and Scottish Office.
