Description
The IDEAS project sought to improve the health and survival of mothers and babies by generating evidence to inform policy and practice and strengthening the public sector’s capacity for data-based decision-making. It undertook formative research for the creation of a Data Informed Platform for Health (DIPH) that was piloted in two districts, North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas, in West Bengal. This data collection contains transcripts of face-to-face in-depth interviews with representatives, on the operation of the District Health & Family Welfare Society in North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas, and field notes produced during observations of meetings of the Executive Committee of the District Health & Family Welfare Society.
