This dataset presents the five-year age-standardised relative survival rates up to the end of 2001 for adult patients (aged 15-99 years) diagnosed between 1991-1995 and 1996-1999 for cancers of the lung, breast (in women), colon and prostate in England & Wales. The methods for compiling this data are in the methods chapter of the Office for National Statistics publication, Cancer Survival Trends (Series SMPS No. 61).
