Search strategies were developed for two concepts: sexually transmitted infections; and pre-exposure prophylaxis to inform systematic reviews on related topics. Searches were run across 8 bibliographic databases on 08 December 2020. Complete search strategies are provided for each database. This is an update of the search found at https://doi.org/10.17037/DATA.00001778.
