Search strategies and results for the review titled "Life cycle environmental impacts of alcohol production: a systematic review". The search strategies include strings of terms and synonyms to reflect the following 3 concepts: (1) Alcoholic beverages; (2) Climate change, particularly focusing on water quality and supply, greenhouse gases, land use, waste, biodiversity or eutrophication (3) Alcohol life-cycle from factory gate to consumer. The search was limited by date to items published 2004-present and to items published in English. In databases where a wide variety of different literature types are indexed, results were also limited to academic journal articles only. Search strategies were run on the following bibliographic databases on 29 January 2024: OvidSP Medline ALL, 1946 to January 26, 2024; EBSCOhost GreenFILE, complete database to search date; EBSCOhost Business Source Premier, complete database to search date; Clarivate Analytics Web of Science, data updated 2024-01-26. The following databases were searched simultaneously: Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED), 1970-present; Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), 1970-present; Arts & Humanities Citation Index (SSCI), 1975-present; Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), 2018-present.
