Data for: "COVID-19 vaccine roll-out in Uganda: a case study of uptake and associated factors among health care workers and older people"
A quantitative dataset produced as part of a study to investigate uptake of and immunogenicity of COVID-19 vaccines in Uganda. Healthcare workers at the Entebbe, Kisubi and Villa Maria hospitals and individuals aged 50 years (older persons) and over in Wakiso and Kalungu districts were invited to take part in interviews to assess their knowledge and attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccines and uptake of COVID-19 vaccination. The older persons were randomly selected from a list of participants in the Well-being of Older People Study (WOPS) project, an ongoing project under the MRC/UVRI and LSHTM Uganda Research Unit. Approximately 200 healthcare workers and older persons who accept vaccination were also invited to provide blood samples before and after vaccination.
