Blood glucose concentration time series in mice infected with malaria parasites
Experiment 1 (glucose_TS_fs.csv): Blood glucose concentration (mmol/L) from 20 mice every 2 hours on day 5 post infection, with 1×10^5 P. chabaudi DK genotype infected red blood cells by intravenous injection, by taking 1 μl blood using an Accu-Chek Performa Nano glucometer (https://www.accu-chek.co.uk/blood-glucose-meters/performa- nano).
Experiment 2 (Glucose_expt2_fs.csv): Intra-peritoneal injections of glucose (3g/kg, n=5), glucose + insulin (4.5IU/kg insulin + 3g/kg glucose, n=6) or PBS (n=5) occurring every 24 hours after infection with 1×10^5 P. chabaudi DK genotype infected red blood cells. Mice sampled every 4h days 5-6 post infection for parasite density, glucose concentration, RBC density.
