This repository contains two geo-referenced plague datasets with year and place names of locations reporting a plague outbreak during the second and the beginning of the third plague pandemic. These datasets are new digitisations of two published plague treatises: [1] Biraben, J.-N. 1975 Les hommes et la peste en France et dans les pays européens et méditerranéens. Paris, Mouton. [2] Sticker, G. 1908 Abhandlungen aus der Seuchengeschichte und Seuchenlehre. Band 1: Die Pest. Giessen, A. Töpelmann.
