Community-based distribution of oral HIV self-testing kits: experimental evidence from Zambia
This file contains data collected during the HIVST study aggregated by community ID, whether the zones within the community were in the HIVST intervention, sex, age group, prior residence in the community and how individuals learnt their HIV status. Through aggregation, the data have been de-identified. The community names have also been changed to a number. The data includes the primary outcome variable knows_hiv_status, and secondary outcome variables accepted testing and participated. There are “derived” variables in the data. Derived variables have been developed based on the values of original variables, and mostly using information from >1 original variable. Please see the accompanying data dictionary for details of the variables included in the dataset. This project (code TW2.2.18) was funded under Thematic Window 2 on HIV self-testing.
