The MENISCUS-2 study is a pre-post longitudinal study design of a menstrual health intervention among secondary school students in Uganda. The dataset contains information collected from 450 eligible and consented/assented students at baseline (232 girls and 218 boys) and 369 students at endline (188 girls and 181 boys). Variables cover knowledge and perceptions about menstrual hygiene management, pain management, school attendance, and perceptions of the intervention, as well as socio-demographic characteristics of each respondent. Qualitative data collected through in-depth interviews with selected girls are not included in this dataset.
