Trachoma datasets for "Learning Clinical Epidemiology with R" tutorial
Sample Trachoma datasets intended for use in the LSHTM "Learning Clinical Epidemiology with R" tutorial series. [1] 'hh_tf.csv' was produced as part of a household clustered cross-sectional prevalence survey of Trachoma. Variables are coded: trachoma/latrines/electricity presence (0=No; 1=Yes), Gender (1=Male; 2=Female). [2] 'TF_CSR.csv' was produced as part of a cohort study looking at incidence of trachoma and ocular chlamydia in the Gambia. Clinical evidence of Trachoma are coded categorically (TF = Trachomatous Inflammation – Follicular; TI = Trachomatous inflammation, intense; TS = Trachomatous scarring; TT = Trachomatous trichiasis; N = Normal). Results of Eyelid swabs are coded 1=PCR Negative; 2=PCR Positive.
