HIGH Horizons - Healthcare Worker Baseline Study: Transcripts of IDIs in South Africa
This dataset contains the transcripts of 15 in-depth interviews (IDIs) conducted in November 2023 to May 2024, in antenatal, postnatal, labour and neonatal wards of a regional hospital and community health centre in South Africa., all within the context of the healthcare worker baseline study of HIGH Horizons. The IDIs explored healthcare workers' perceptions of working in elevated temperatures on well-being, productivity, mood, and quality of care. The topic guide for our in-depth interviews with health care workers is available (see uploaded Supplementary File 1, also included in our peer-reviewed journal article). The full dataset will be uploaded once all data analyses have been performed and the dataset is made 'as close as needed' (because of the personal and sensitive data).
