Data was captured at the TREATS TB prevalence survey in the community at time of participant's enrolment and next day visit through electronic data capturing (EDC) tools designed for that purpose. Socio-demographic and clinical characteristics were collected through a standardized questionnaire. Point-of-care CRP and HIV test results were also captured at the time of enrolment in the EDC tool, as well as the CAD score from the Chest-X ray. Results from Xpert tests and culture were captured by the laboratory information and management system in place in each of the sites and merged to rest of the data through study-id number. Informed consent and questionnaires were also translated in to local languages such as Nyanja and Bemba in Zambia and Xhosa in South Africa.
