This dataset contains participant information supporting research to investigate the role of gut microbiome differences in explaining the link between helminths, environment and cardiovascular risk in Ugandan populations who live in rural (LaVIISWA metabolic survey) and urban settings (Entebbe urban survey). Variables include participant's blood pressure, cholesterol concentration, insulin concentration (while fasting), insulin concentration (while fasting), circulating anodic antigen (CAA) status for Schistosoma mansoni infection, and other measurements.
