Data was collected in English, French and Spanish. Respondents could complete sections on newborn signal functions, obstetric signal functions, or both. Datasets from different rounds were merged based on email addresses and checked for consistency in excel. Descriptive statistics were produced for key variables. For round two, mean rank scores were calculated for each signal function, separately for obstetric and newborn responses. For round three, descriptive statistics were produced on placement of signal functions at different levels and the named newborn and obstetric signal functions.
