Search strategies were run during January 2025. The searches include strings of terms, synonyms and subject headings to reflect the following concepts: serious violence; children and young people aged 10-24 years; qualitative research. A filter limiting to qualitative research was expanded by the team to also include terms to capture papers which include young people’s experiences was included. A published filter was added to limit to studies conducted in the UK and the search was limited to items published in 2000 to present.
