This covered ten open research practices – preregistration, registered reports, research co-production, research verification, preprint sharing, open peer review, sharing of public engagement literature, code sharing, Computer Assisted Design sharing, and sharing of physical materials. The survey question list was developed through a review of similar surveys performed by academic organisations related to open science, open research, and open scholarship. The first survey iteration was trialled by the LSHTM Open Science Working Group and 15 LSHTM staff located in in London, Uganda, and Gambia. Updates were made based upon feedback provided. The survey was delivered using JISC Online Surveys and promoted via faculty/department newsletters, internal mailing lists and LSHTM-wide groups (Yammer).
