The Wellcome Trust-funded PRIDE (PRemIum for aDolEscents) research programme aimed to develop and evaluate a trans-diagnostic, stepped-care intervention targeting common mental health problems in school-going adolescents in India. The PRIDE Step 1 dataset described here contains data collected as part of work to investigate the impact of a lay counsellor-delivered, brief transdiagnostic problem-solving intervention on psychosocial problems and mental health symptoms over a 12-month follow-up period.
