Search strategies for "Evidence of post-diagnosis inequalities in cancer care in the UK since 2012: A scoping review" Methods A draft search strategy was compiled in the Ovid Medline ALL database by an experienced information professional. The search strategy included strings of terms, synonyms and subject headings to reflect the following concepts: cancer; post-diagnostic care; UK. The UK search was derived from the search published by Ayiku et al (1). The date was limited to papers published in 2012 to current. The search strategy was refined with the project team until the retrieved results reflected the scope of the project. It was agreed to remove items indexed with a cancer screening major subject heading, or with screening in the title. Once agreed, the draft searches were adapted for each database to incorporate database-specific syntax and controlled vocabularies. A list of the databases searched is included below.
