Description

Data collected part of a qualitative study to understand the role of social network approaches in influencing the adoption of public health interventions that target HIV and schistosomiasis services. Data consists of transcripts from 16 in-depth interviews and 4 focus group discussions (20 transcripts in total) that explore fishermen’s views on the factors that encourage and discourage take-up of health services and the role of social relationships in decision making.

Data access conditions

Redacted transcripts will be made available for use in ethically approved research. Researchers wishing to access the data should complete an application form, outlining a set of pre-specified questions that they wish to address using the data.
