The dataset contains information on 1539 young people aged 16-24 who were either diagnosed HIV positive or self-reported as HIV positive at a CHIEDZA community-based sexual and reproductive health centre in urban and peri-urban Zimbabwe. It reports on the care cascade including linkage to care, initiation of antiretroviral therapy, viral load testing, and viral suppression.
Researchers wishing to access data for the purpose of research verification or reuse are invited to contact the study team. Applications should outline the purpose of the research, list the data variables that are being requested and provide relevant information on who will be using the data (name, role, institution, etc.).
Data applications will be reviewed by the research study team, in conjunction with relevant external experts. If the application is approved, the applicant / their host institution must sign a Data Transfer Agreement (DTA) that establishes conditions of data use, prior to being provided with the data.
