Permanent identifier

https://doi.org/10.17037/DATA.00002559

Description

Dataset containing information used to evaluate the impact of the inSCALE trial interventions on child health outcomes by intervention arm (1 row per child). Data was collected as part of cross sectional surveys conducted in 39 sub-counties of the West regions (Hoima) of Uganda in 2014.

Data access

The inSCALE study data was collected on the basis that information will be kept confidential and access will be restricted to specific authorised individuals. These restrictions place limitations upon the ability to share data. Access to limited anonymised data may be allowed for the purpose of verification and/or further research, on condition that the proposed work has appropriate ethics approval and agrees to comply with the ethic approvals of the original study.

Researchers wishing to access study data must perform the following actions:

  1. Review the data codebook (table below)
  2. Complete and submit a data request form (available at 10.17037/DATA.00002559) that outlines the purpose of their research, data variables/measurements that they wish to access, and other information necessary to support their request.

The completed data request form will be sent to a Data Access Committee for review. At this stage, the DAC can make a decision to approve, decline, or request clarification on the application.
