ZENITH spirometry of older children and adolescents living with HIV in Zimbabwe - User Guide

Data Description

This dataset contains spirometry measurement data collected from children and adolescents living with perinatal HIV. Participants were instructed to take a deep breath and breathe out as much air as quickly as possible into a spirometer. Spirometry measurement tests were repeated approximately every 6 months for up to 3 years.

Data Collection Methods

The participant was instructed to take a deep breath and breathe out as much air as quickly as possible into a spirometer. A respiratory medicine specialist assessed the traces for quality and selected the best trace. Z-scores were calculated using the GLI2020 references.
